I've turned over a new leaf, seeing things differently today.  In a new place, if you will.  And boooooy is Ian glad!

Here's a list of my latest obsessions that make my heart glad:

one.  crochet.  no, not crocheting. that would necessitate eye-hand coordination and patience.  but anything  and everything crocheted.  hats, scarves, necklaces, flowers in your hair, cardigans, sweaters, babies in hats and such.  i suppose knitted garments and accessories could also fall under the same category.

two.  boat shoes.

three.  whimsy.

four.  lady antebellum.  can't get enough.  just can't.

five.  ava's latest video project.

six.  the prospect of reaching goals i once thought were impossible

seven.  baby cakes.

eight.  ice tea.

nine.  tree themed wall decals

ten.  psalm 36.

eleven.  farmer's markets.

twelve.  sleeping in till seven or eight.

thirteen.  long, windy car rides that remind me of our road trip to new york and bring me back to the romance of newness, excitement, and an unbridled faith in the idea that everything is going to turn out just how i like it.

fourteen.  being thankful that everything didn't turn out just how i would have liked it.

fifteen.  wine, cheese, kalamata olives, raspberry chutney, and good oil and vinegar on good bread.

sixteen.  vodka martinis.  three olives.  and make it dirty.

seventeen.  starbucks madeleines.

eighteen.  fall fashion.

nineteen.  being excited that only five out of nineteen obsessions are about food and beverage.
