Confession

I started my morning off with an orange, mango, and banana smoothie, except that I substituted vanilla bean powder for the banana, and then called it a great start to my day. Then I moved on to a soy latte, an ice tea and now capping the day off with a ramekin of moose tracks.

I like to watch Star Trek:TNG reruns with my husband. The fact that I call it TNG is repulsive, but I find solice in the fact that I get in trouble every time I genuinely refer to the characters as "Wolf," and "Georgie," and I pronounce "Data" as "Dat-a." I'm pretty sure Ian appreciates every time I ask if #1 and Troy are dating.

That's so funny. "Make it so, #1."

"Engage, #1."

Does #1 know what his name means where I come from?

I think I might be getting a bit of a booty. And it's not even the good, solid kind.

In fourth grade, I asked my teacher if I could do my book report on Winkyn, Blinkyn and Nod. My only saving grace is that she didn't even know what I was talking about. But seriously, she was probably reading Tolstoy to here kids in the nursery. You know, borrrrringgg.....

*****

I get a little smigm of satisfaction when the girl at work who told me "jokingly", on my first day officially working the espresso bar that my drinks better not be noticeably different from her drinks because the customers are used to hers, and that has begun to not-so-slyly, take it upon herself to check my drinks over my shoulder, gets an order wrong.

*****

I enjoy a good run-on sentence, every now and again.

I'm stopping my confession early, because I have to #1.
