Hazel Joy

It's hard to put into words what this experience was like (Not great for blogging). As I process, completely in a daze and in awe of the goodness of our Lord, I'll tell you this: God answered prayers. Hazel Joy came into this world just the way I had hoped she would. Thank you for your prayers. Thank you for your encouragement. Hazel Joy came with so many wonderful surprises, the biggest of all being that she is a she. We were so sure it was a boy in there.

One day I hope to be able to share a little of what we did on that beautiful day; but for now, we are soaking in the joy she brings, and the constant reminder in her face of how much our God loves us.

Psalm 90:14
Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.

John 15:11I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.

Our prayer is that Hazel Joy's name is a reminder of the joy she brings us. A good and perfect gift from the Lord. We want her to know to Whom she belongs and that her joy comes from Him.
