Prayer Requests and Shout Outs!

This is by far one of my favorite blogs that I read. If you visit it once, you'll go again and again and again and again. She's smart, funny, witty, raw and real. I really like reading her outlook on life. As of late she's been asking for prayers for her new little nephew Zion. I can't think of a better way to utilize the blog world then to start yet another chain of prayers. Lifting each other up to the One who holds us in His hands and offers HOPE. You can also read more about Zion's amazing story HERE. (His parents are also fun bloggers to follow.)

I've been toying with the idea to link their family into my blog to ask for prayers for a few days. I'm not totally familiar with blogging etiquette and if it is appropriate to link their story here on Extravagant Love. Then I went to one of my other favorite blogs. (We've agreed to disagree on favorite football teams and maintain a friendship otherwise.) She's one of my dear friends that I don't put enough effort into keeping in touch with outside of blogging and Facebook, and am always meaning to invite her and her husband, Kevin over for dinner. (Consider this your invite, Klas'.) She's smart, savvy and and talented. She holds no qualms about shouting from the rooftops her love for the Lord. I've always admired that about her. And for all us Lakewoodians, she's born and raised in Tillicum. And after she moved out and married, she decided to stay.

Yes. I said Tillicum. She's there to minister to those that we've made outcast, and to be a light to us all that stereotyping sucks.

Anyway, that's neither here nor there. I came across one of her pages on her blog.

That's when I decided to introduce you to Zion. Because of the promise of HOPE! Where would we be in this broken world with out it? It scares me to think about that.

Please join me in prayer for little Zion, his family has dubbed the Lion.
