Leaves

We had to bring out the table leaves last night. There were too many of us to fit around a table built for four. It makes me happy when I look at our bigger table now because I was too self-conscious to have friends over until now. Until one friend said, "Why?! We're in our twenties!"

I thought not having enough places to sit was a good reason not to invite friends over. Then someone asked, "Do you have more chairs?"

And Ian replied, "Yeah, but they're still at Target."

So someone sat on the amp at dinner.

But we supped. With leaves, not enough chairs and lots of friends.

We are in our twenties and we are blessed.
