Dear Adams Fairacre Farms, (because I know now that you will read this)
Thank you for such a kind, timely and albeit, surprising response to my latest blog post. Regarding the shopping cart city ordinance in Poughkeepsie, I was not able to access the link, but rest assured, in my humble opinion, this is not in any way a reflection of the superior service and excellent product you provide on a regular, unwavering basis.
A good blogger knows her readers and I knew my friends and family in Lakewood, Washington could attest to the fact that perhaps chained carts wouldn't be such a bad idea. Especially my Aunt Colleen who unfortunately finds a barrage of Target (hi to Target if you are reading this!) carts in her yard regularly, left by inconsiderate customers, and to be sure, fellow town citizens of my dear Aunt Colleen, that feel they are entitled to unrestricted usage of Target property, and discarding them on her lawn. It was meant as an anecdote to reinforce (as if I need to) to my readers the clueless person that I can be at times and make mention to the weird trend of cart snatching. That said, I take full responsibility if I sounded as though I blamed Adams as I have noticed all other stores in Poughkeepsie do the same. And truly, I don't find "quartering" a cart to be an inconvenience at all.
Here are just a few reasons as to why I love your store:
1. The people are always friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
2. The produce holds up to it's reputation as the best in the area. Always.
3. The cafe is just about the cutest thing I ever saw and I love the people in there and the food is DE-lish!
4. You offer hard and soft serve ice cream through a window from your patio. *swoon*
5. Your flowers in the nursery are always beautiful.
6. The gift shop is the best in town.
7. You are local and family owned.
8. Your cheese.
I wish nothing but the best for Adams and am so glad I have a place like it to shop. Thanks for your service.
And thanks for visiting my blog!
Sincerely,
Katelyn
