This is truly a dilemma! Perhaps what you need to do is look at the nedded time for a soft chewy coookie and the time for a nice lightly crispy cookie. Look on the net for tips on how to get the cookies the way you both like them too, maybe it's a how much fat is in the dough (butter) how much margarine Vs how much shortening(crisco) or whether or not you use butter VS. Margarine Vs. shortening.. Remember you are the official cookie mavin in your house!
