The Professional Chef

Well, I've been waiting for something exciting to happen before I made a new post. That didn't happen. I have nothing to report except that we have ants crawling all over our house and that I have vowed to myself that I cannot get my eyebrows waxed until I land a job interview. I better get an interview fast.

Also, I went to two, TWO "coffee shops" that both said they don't carry white chocolate for white chocolate mochas. One "Barista" at said "coffee shop" even looked at me puzzled and didn't know what a white chocolate mocha was.

IT'S A MOCHA MADE WITH WHITE CHOCOLATE INSTEAD OF MILK (BROWN) CHOCOLATE!

Also also, these "coffee shops" call their mochas, "mocha lattes"!!

A MOCHA IS A LATTE WITH (WHITE/BROWN) CHOCOLATE IN IT. THERE BY CREATING A MOCHA IN WHICH IT NO LONGER CONSTITUTES AS A LATTE!

Ian on the other hand, has had a very exciting week. He started at "The Culinary", as the locals call it. The first day was exhausting and he pretty much went to bed right after dinner. I have never seen anything like it.

He came home with some rather large books. He'll be in regular classrooms for the next 6 weeks before he starts in the kitchen, learning all about meat and seafood identification and fabrication. **shrug**

The second day he came home with more school supplies.

Oddly enough, the backpack it comes with resembles a toolpak. I think this is enough to keep Ian busy for a while.
